German Culture Minister: We support Egypt's efforts to preserve antiquities against looting

German Minister of Culture Monica Grotters stressed Germany's interest in supporting Egyptian efforts to preserve and protect antiquities against all kinds of theft, looting and smuggling as a common human heritage of all humanity.

During the visit of a high-ranking German delegation to Germany, the minister reviewed the efforts that led to the adoption of a new law to recover the artifacts that were illegally removed from their countries.
