The Civil Protection and Fire Protection Forces of Wadi El-Gadid Governorate have recently managed to control two separate fires in the Dakhla center. The first fire was found in dry grass and palm trees in Al-Souba area, 1 in Al-Jadida village,.
Major General Mohammed Kamal, security director of Wadi El-Gadid, received control of the two fires and secured nearby houses close to the fire sites.
Police forces drove civilian protection vehicles to the site of the fire, and a fire barrier was installed to prevent their spread to neighboring areas..
The village of Al-Rashda of the Dakhla center was exposed to a huge fire at Nakheel farms last October, causing the burning of 20 thousand palm trees on an area of 150 acres.
