Learn about the multi-storey garage project of Alexandria Port Authority
Alexandria Port Authority is evaluating a number of public projects which it is working on during the current period, including the multi-storey garage project within the port authority, which will solve the crisis of the accumulation of cars and the exploitation of spaces on the sidewalks.
The multi-storey garage is built on an area of 15 thousand square meters, which is a large addition to the storage areas inside the port, consists of 4 floors, three of them for the storage of customs to accommodate about 2800 cars, and the fourth for the daily use of customers.
It is expected that the capacity of the garage will reach about 162 thousand cars annually. The minister directed the intensification of the works to be completed in order to allow two floors of the garage of Alexandria Port Authority by June 2019 to store the cars. It is completed in September 2019.
