President of ITIDA: Technological areas are the most important sectors of the export development strategy

Hala El Gohary, ITIDA Chief Executive Officer, said ITIDA is one of the most important axes of the export and sector development strategy, noting that Silicon Oasis is implementing, managing and developing its objectives.

In an exclusive statement to the seventh day, Hala al-Juhari said that she visited the technological areas in the governorates of Beni Suef and Assiut as an important part in attracting investment, and will play a major role in localization strategy.

Hala al-Juhari said earlier that the agency aims to reach the size of technology exports from Egypt to 4.2 billion dollars before the end of this year, compared to 3.7 billion dollars now.

The launch of the Silicon Oasis Company for the technological zones as an Egyptian joint stock company according to Law No. 159 of 1981 and its executive regulations, based on a partnership between ITIDA of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the new Urban Communities Authority of the Ministry of Housing and Designing, implementing and constructing buildings and technological zones specialized in the field of communications and information technology, providing logistics services and establishing infrastructure and technology projects required for the development of these areas.
