Officially .. Rome announces the departure of De Rossi after 18 years with the wolves
The Italian club Roma, the departure of its captain and veteran star Danielle De Rossi, has announced the end of the season 2018/2019.
The 35-year-old will play his last match against Parma in the 38th and final round of the Italian league on May 26, the club said on its official website.
Roma are currently struggling to finish the season with the top four to qualify for the Champions League next season and are now sixth on 62 points, three points behind Atalanta IV.
Daniele De Rossi, who has been in the club for more than 18 years with the wolves of the Italian capital, has played 615 matches since 2001, scoring 63 goals and winning the Italian Cup twice in 2007 and 2008 and the 2007 Italian Super Cup.
