"Veterinary services" campaign on 479 massacres during Ramadan
The General Authority for Veterinary Services in the Ministry of Agriculture continued to intensify the supervision of meat slaughter of 479 slaughterhouses in order to cope with the increase and density of slaughterers during the holy month of Ramadan and reduce the phenomenon of slaughter outside the approved massacres which are subject to full veterinary supervision.
The veterinary services report said that an intensive program of periodic traffic is being carried out on all the 480 massacres of the Republic of animals and cooperation with the directorates of veterinary medicine in the provinces to ensure the safety of meat and poultry produced by these massacres and reduce the phenomenon of slaughter outside approved slaughterhouses.
The veterinary services report added that among the procedures currently underway are canceling vacations and vacations for veterinarians in the massacres, and supporting them with doctors from various departments to cope with the increase and density of slaughterers in the period before and during the holy month of Ramadan. Saving animals, preserving and sealing seals and colored materials used to seal slabs.
Coordination between the directorates of veterinary medicine and the security authorities in the governorate to ensure the work of the massacres, coordination with the provision of meat inspection and the inspection of meat in the passage on meat outlets to ensure the safety of meat offered and its validity for human consumption to combat slaughter outside the massacres.
