The Cairo Criminal Court has periodically renewed the imprisonment of two accused in the case of the "Tala'i Samer" terrorist organization for plotting to target State institutions. In case No. 760 of 2017, state security is restricted. The defendants face many charges, including charges of punishment.

1. Joining a terrorist group

The penalty for joining is between life imprisonment and aggravated imprisonment, in accordance with article 86 of the Penal Code.

2. Possession of weapons

Some of the defendants face charges of possession of weapons and ammunition, the provisions of the Weapons and Ammunition Act No. 394 of 195, as amended by Law No. 6 of 2012, to be punished by imprisonment and a fine of not more than 5,000 pounds each, 2 "non-smokeless weapons.

The penalty shall be life imprisonment and a fine not exceeding 20,000 pounds from the weapons scored in the first part of Table No. 3"He said.

The security services arrested the defendants on the decision of the Public Prosecution to charge them with planning to commit acts of sabotage in the country in the coming period, and to plan attacks against state institutions and to join a group established contrary to the provisions of the law.
