Egypt offers aid to Zimbabwe to cope with hurricane

As part of Egypt's role in the African continent, and in light of its historical duty to stand by its African brethren, and in connection with what Egypt has decided on providing shelter, food and medical assistance to cope with the effects of the cyclone, which affected Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe, Ambassador Mohamed Fahmy, Egypt's Ambassador to Zimbabwe Two military planes delivered Egyptian aid to Zimbabwe, in the presence of the Minister of Local Government, Public Works and National Housing and his deputy from the Zimbabwe side, as well as senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs And the Zimbabwe Air Defense Forces.

The Deputy Minister of Local Government delivered a speech in which she expressed her country's gratitude and thanks for the Egyptian assistance, stressing the fraternal relations between the two sister countries and the importance of joint African action to face these challenges. The Egyptian Ambassador in Zimbabwe also stressed the solidarity of the Egyptian government and people with the brotherly government and people of Zimbabwe, referring to the permanent Egyptian support for Zimbabwe and all the brothers in Africa..
