Sylvia Nabil: The budget of the programs and performance provided by the planning does not meet the level of the ministry
MP Silvia Nabil, Chairperson of the Sub-Committee formed from the Budget and Follow-up Committee to monitor the implementation of the 2030 Strategy and the Program and Performance Budgets expressed her reservations on the level of coordination between the Ministry of Planning, the Committee and the Ministry of Finance regarding program and performance budgets. Performance, and a communication problem in the ministry between 2030 and program and performance budgeting.
Silvia Nabil added that the Ministry of Planning is offering many good mechanized programs, but it is necessary to make sure that the ministries benefit from them and their commitment to using them.
MP Silvia stressed that the budget of the programs and performance provided by the Ministry of Planning does not amount to the level of the ministry, pointing out that the ministry has budgeted 3 sectors, namely "the Diwan and the Planning Institute and the Central Organization for Management and Administration" and that the provider may be acceptable to a ministry other than planning.
She added that the budget of the programs and the performance presented by them is a problem in the indicators and the extent of their reflection on the work of the Ministry of Planning, which is the ministry concerned to start all the indicators for the ministries, and therefore this should not be the level of indicators.
Sylvia added that the indicators presented are not expressed, and there are programs that do not contain indicators such as follow-up strategy 2030,.
Silvia Nabil confirmed that the committee relies mainly on the Ministry of Planning and that is why it is criticized in this way.
