MP Mumtaz Desouki, member of the Legislative Committee of the House of Representatives, praised the closure of the sites of theft of Egyptian and international series and films, pointing out that it is an important step to view the works of art as legitimate channels that provide high quality content while protecting the rights of producers who suffer heavy losses every season.

The MP pointed out that piracy of works of art on websites or satellite channels broadcast from outside Egypt is lost to the Egyptian state, technical producers, satellite channels and creators of billions of pounds.

The MP pointed out in a statement issued today that under the great technological development witnessed by the world it becomes difficult to control the content and protect intellectual property rights and legalization, but what the Egyptian state is now is to raise the value of creativity and protect the creators by closing these channels Legitimacy.
