Parliamentary deputy: campaigns to remove the road bushes need to restore the face of civilized Egypt

Tariq Metwally, Deputy of Suez and member of the Industry Committee of the House of Representatives, praised the efforts of the districts in different governorates to confront the negative aspects of the streets and restore discipline by enforcing the law firmly against the violators, seeking to eliminate the foci of street vendors and random markets and facilitate traffic.

Metwally said in a statement today that the achievement of police presence and security, discipline and order on the street, contribute to the restoration of the civilized face of Egypt in coordination with the organs of life.

He explained that some shops and cafeterias are not limited to the leased space, but extends to occupy the sidewalk for pedestrians, and half the way allocated for the passage of vehicles, causing traffic congestion, and distorting the urban appearance of the street.

Rep. Tariq Metwally said that the campaigns should be extended to the secondary streets and not only the main ones. He also stressed the necessity of transporting street vendors to more organized places near vital areas.
