The House of Representatives began preparing for the issuance of a set of legislations for the judicial bodies and bodies after the government submitted 6 important draft laws, according to the text of the recent constitutional amendments.
Dr. Ali Abdel-Al, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, referred the legislation to the Constitutional and Legislative Affairs Committee of the Parliament for discussion. The plenary session is scheduled to be discussed during its discussion within the Committee.
Among these amendments is the State Council Law No. 47 of 1972, which states: "The President of the Council of State shall be appointed from among the seven oldest Vice-Presidents of the Council for a period of four years or for the remainder of the term until he reaches the retirement age whichever is earlier and for one time throughout his term of office."
