The government approved the adoption of 149 million pounds for the requirements of a number of members of the House of Representatives for local development programs in the governorates of the Republic, within the plan for the current fiscal year 2018/2019, to implement a number of projects in some provinces.

According to official data published by the Ministry of Planning on its official website on the social networking site "Facebook" within the "Infograph", the most prominent provinces benefiting from this financial dependence, and the value allocated to each province, as follows:

– Giza Governorate with a financial support of LE 18 million.

– Cairo governorate with a financial support of 14 million pounds.

– Sharkia Governorate with a financial allocation of 14 million pounds.

– Dakahlia Governorate with a financial dependence of 12 million pounds.

– Qalyubia Governorate with a financial value of LE 11 million.

– Sohag Governorate with a financial sanction of LE 11 million.

– Al-Gharbia Governorate with a financial allocation of LE 9 million.

It is worth noting that the rest of the total appropriation is LE 149 million distributed to other governorates for the implementation of a number of projects, which are the paving projects and the laying of electricity networks, the most prominent of which is the cost of road paving projects to LE 61 million of the total appropriation, Extending electricity networks to 42 million pounds.

The Ministry of Planning, in a statement, stressed the government's interest in supporting local development projects because they are related to the livelihoods of citizens from road and electricity networks, pointing out that the amount approved for projects of local development programs at the governorate level comes within the framework of achieving spatial distribution justice according to governorates A number of projects are required to be completed.
