Government: Establish clean coal plants to diversify energy sources in the country

During a meeting of the Industry Committee of the House of Representatives on Sunday, the government confirmed that it is working to establish stations for clean coal from the diversity of energy sources in the country.
Egypt is a central hub in the interconnection network between Europe, Africa and Asia, and is facing great competition with Morocco in this field due to its proximity to the coast of Europe.
At present, Egypt can produce 90,000 megawatts of clean electrical energy from renewable energy sources such as wind, water and solar power plants, and there is a plan to develop electricity networks to keep pace with major national projects such as the Suez Canal industrial zones and others. , And many countries in the world have taken major steps in this area, such as India, which aims to convert all government cars to electricity in 2030 instead of liquid fuel or gas to reduce the cost.
