Giza Health raises the emergency degree to receive cases of thermal stress

Dr. Hana Sorour, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Giza, met with the Director of the Department of Medical Medicine and Emergency Directors at the Directorate and Hospitals at Embaba Fever Hospital, in accordance with the instructions of Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza.
The director of the Directorate of Health in Giza, said that the light was highlighted on the cases of heat stress and how to deal with it and the necessary equipment for thermal stress rooms reception at all public hospitals and central.
Sorour announced that Giza hospitals are ready to face the current heat wave and the following waves expected to occur during the coming summer.
She stressed the existence of air-conditioned rooms in all hospitals and trained nurses to deal with such cases, and was confirmed the availability of heat reducers and solutions and other methods of treatment of heat stress and sun strikes.
She pointed out that the directors of the health departments were also alerted to the preparation of all family medicine units at the governorate level in preparation for receiving any condition throughout the day. The departments of culture, health, information and population education were instructed to interact with the citizens and give educational seminars and advise them to wear light and loose cotton clothes. For industrial fibers and non-exposure to direct sunlight especially at noon, with drinking large quantities of fluids, and presence in places available by air conditioning or fans and patients with diabetes and pressure and other chronic diseases reviewed by the doctor C or outpatient clinics in hospitals and health units.
