Ghanaian Parliament Speaker: We are keen to support bilateral cooperation between the two countries
In the framework of Egypt's presidency of the African Union, the State is keen to establish stronger relations with all African countries. An Egyptian parliamentary delegation met on Sunday with the President of the Ghana Parliament and his accompanying delegation, Mr. Mike Okaye. During the meeting, Egypt stressed the importance of consolidating Egyptian-African relations and increasing cooperation with all African countries, as well as the importance attached by Egypt to its relations with Ghana. Egypt sought to increase cooperation with Ghana and to open new channels of communication in various political, economic, parliamentary and legal fields.
For his part, President of the Parliament of Ghana expressed his happiness with this meeting, stressing the importance of historical relations between Egypt and Ghana, and his country's keenness to develop them in all fields and benefit from the Egyptian experience in order to achieve the aspirations of the Egyptian and Lebanese peoples.
