The Egyptian delegation pointed out that the Egyptian government is working hard for all citizens to enjoy comprehensive health coverage within the framework of an integrated national plan aimed at developing public health and combating all communicable and noncommunicable diseases, pointing out that the initiative of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi "100 million health" And the detection of cases infected with C virus along with the detection of noncommunicable diseases, which examined more than 55 million citizens, which is one of the primary axes of the state plan to improve public health and achieve comprehensive health coverage for all who live on the land of Egypt on an equal footing P Egyptians, both with regard to the examination process or received treatment free of charge.

The priorities set by the Egyptian presidency of the African Union, foremost among which is to support the achievement of comprehensive health coverage and the implementation of the goals of sustainable development, in cooperation with various parties, particularly the World Health Organization, especially with the intersection of these priorities with the objectives contained in the Program of Action Strategy for the Organization in the period 2019/2023.
The 12 African countries most affected by the spread of this disease have been identified to implement the first phase of the initiative, pointing out that the Egyptian government will continue its efforts to support a number of African countries in treating many diseases such as kidney failure by providing doctors, To provide technical support, training and capacity-building to these countries. In this context, the Minister welcomed cooperation with the World Health Organization [WHO] in order to maximize the benefit and development of these efforts.
