Egypt to run for vice president of International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage in Mauritania next September

Egypt is running for the vice chair of the International Commission for Irrigation and Drainage at the conference to be held in Mauritania from September 1-7, the seat on which it has been nominated many times.
The African Regional Working Group of the International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage, which is currently chaired by Egypt in cooperation with the Egyptian Irrigation and Drainage Division, organized the African Youth Forum which was launched last year on the sidelines of the Cairo Water Week held under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi.
Dr. Marco Arsere, Vice President of the International Committee for Irrigation and Drainage, Dr. Rajab Jib, Honorary Vice President of the International Committee for Irrigation and Drainage, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Moneim Shehata, Chairman of the National Commission for Irrigation and Drainage and Secretary General of the International Committee for Irrigation and Drainage spoke about the Cairo Water Week and its importance under the great challenges Facing water and food, how to deal with water scarcity, the importance of energy use in water and food production, and the importance of dealing with young people who specialize in water management.
The African Regional Working Group of the International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage, which is currently chaired by Egypt in cooperation with the Egyptian Division of Irrigation and Drainage, organized the African Youth Forum which was launched last year on the sidelines of the Cairo Water Week held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi.
The African Youth Forum is attended by 24 young people from 12 African countries, including Egypt, Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, Nigeria, Malawi, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Ghana and Morocco.
