Egypt lifted their African Confederation Cup titles to two titles, after Zamalek crowned the championship on Sunday night at the expense of the Nahdet volcano volcano with a penalty of 5-3.
Al Ahly had previously won the championship at the expense of the Ivory Coast Ivorian team in 2014.
Egypt became the third African club to win the Confederation Cup with the Congo, behind Tunisia with 5 titles and Morocco with 4 titles.
