EGP 270 million net foreign sales in the stock market during the week ended

Non-Arab foreign investors recorded a net sell-off of EGP 270.2 million during last week's trading, while the Arabs recorded net purchases of EGP 72.6 million during the same period, after excluding deals, according to the Egyptian Stock Exchange's weekly report.

The Egyptians accounted for 57.9% of the total market transactions, while non-Arab foreigners accounted for 33.8% and the Arabs 8.3% last week, after excluding deals.

Non-Arab foreign investors recorded net sales of EGP 1.5 billion since the beginning of the year. The Arabs recorded net purchases of EGP 99.9 million during the same period, after excluding deals.

The Egyptians accounted for 67% of the traded value of the restricted shares since the beginning of the year after the exclusion of deals, while foreigners recorded 23.6% and the Arabs scored 9.4%.
