Cairo University: Internal classification of colleges and departments to promote competition for scientific research
Dr. Mohamed Osman El-Khasht, President of Cairo University, directed the deans of the faculties of the university to establish an internal classification of colleges and departments based on a set of common standards among the most important international classifications, such as academic reputation and governance, leading to supporting internal competition between faculties and departments. Al-Khasht stressed in a special statement to "Seventh Day" the continuation of support for the deans of the faculties to promote their colleges, stressing the university's failure to achieve justice towards any failure or error, and applying the law firmly to face shortcomings or mistakes.
The president of Cairo University said that the university is one entity with one goal, namely the advancement of the university in general and the colleges in particular, and the search for a state of permanent stability throughout the university, which the university succeeded in achieving significantly.
