A new system for the cultivation of farms and a database of exporters to double exports
In the coming period, the government is seeking to double agricultural exports, especially under the system of farm coding, in cooperation with the associations of export development and agro-stone, in order to increase the base of exporters for various agricultural exports. According to a government report, Tejazoot Agricultural exports 5.2 million tons last year.
The government also works On The increase in exports this year is not only quantitative but also qualitative, pointing to the importance of agricultural processing, which adds value to national output, as well as providing job opportunities in rural areas.
Initiatives have been launched to raise awareness of farmers and diversify their production in 10 governorates, As well as support for fruit fly control projects through the Institute of Pesticides and the Pesticides Committee and rationalization of the use of chemicals and pesticides.
