49 accused of possessing narcotic substances and unlicensed weapons in Giza

The security forces of the Giza Security Directorate continued their security campaigns to arrest drug traffickers and unlicensed firearms holders.
A campaign targeting several criminal hotspots throughout the province resulted in the seizure of 40 suspects with 1820 grams of hashish, 730 sedatives and 113 grams of heroin.
The campaign also resulted in the arrest of 9 suspects with firearms and a number of shots without a permit. Legal proceedings were taken against the accused. Major General Reda al-Omda, Director of the General Department of Giza Investigations, was notified.
