Intensive campaigns in most neighborhoods and areas of Cairo, including supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries, shops, cosmetics, electrical appliances, mobile accessories shops and various commercial activities resulted in the seizure Half a ton of hazelnuts, pistachio nuts, 4 kg of cashews and 100 rolls of unreliable karmic acid for human consumption during traffic and inspection of a number of supermarkets and souks in the ancient Egyptian, Maadi and Nasr districts. Some food commodities were also identified as non- Jerry cans, cheese plates, yogurt cans, smoked meat, 450 tuna cans and expired bean curds, and more than 20 kg of herring and fishes were confiscated and are not suitable for human consumption.

Eng. Ibrahim Asqalani, director of the Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade, said that the campaigns also included the passage of shops selling electrical appliances and mobile accessories. Inspection of a number of bakeries in the municipality and Al-Helwani resulted in the seizure of 5.5 tons of anonymous flour, 600 kg of flour-proof flours without holding possession documents, and the seizure of rotten meat and poultry and confiscated by some restaurants. A large number of non-conforming make-up, nail polish and cosmetics products are offered in some boutiques and shopping malls.
