Two international flights were delayed at Cairo airport due to operating intensity
CAIRO – The international airport in Cairo on Wednesday morning delayed the departure of two flights for more than an hour from the planned departure schedule because of the operating intensity and cancellation of a trip because it was not economically feasible for the few passengers.
According to a shipping source at Cairo airport, the flight of Nesma Airlines 170 to Jeddah was delayed two hours from the scheduled departure due to operating conditions and maintenance. The flight of Saudi Airlines 386 to Jeddah was delayed by one hour and a half to the operating intensity witnessed by the company in transporting the pilgrims to the Holy Land Omrah duty.
The source added that the authorities of the airport received notification from the Egyptian International Aviation Company to cancel the departure of flight 905 destined for Jeddah because of economic feasibility of the lack of passengers, adding that it was coordinated with the authorities of the airport to travel passengers on other flights.
