Tuning 3240 liters of foamed and unfit for human consumption in Shubra Al-Khaimah
The Directorate of Health in Qalioubia launched a large campaign on the sale of food commodities in the West Shubra Al-Kheima district. The campaign was attended by Samy Rajab, Food Controller in Qalioubia, Mohammad Sobhy, Mahmoud Qutb, Head of the Food Bureau in Shubra Gharb and Ahmad Hamed Food Inspector in West Shubra Al-Kheima.
The campaign resulted in the seizure of its unlicensed facility and 3240 liters of adulterated and unfit human consumption were seized. The owner of the facility brings in a concentrated edible acid, adding water, chewing and promoting it to the citizens.
The campaign was directed by Dr. Hamdy El-Tabakh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, and Dr. Alfat Abdel Raouf, Director General of Preventive Medicine in Al-Qalioubia, to tighten the supervision of food control work in order to protect the lives and safety of citizens.
