Trade Representation presents the advantages of investment in Egypt for the textile sector of the China Investment Forum
Matar Al Mowafi, Commercial Secretary of the Egyptian Commercial Representation Office in Shanghai, participated in the China Foreign Investment Forum in the textile field, which was held on May 22 under the auspices of the China Textile Council CCCT Dr. Ashraf Al-Rubaie, Head of the Qualified Industrial Zones Unit at the Ministry of Commerce,QIZ).
The Egyptian delegation presented a presentation on the advantages of investing in Egypt in the textile sector represented by the abundance of trained workers and near Egypt from the European and international markets as well as Egypt from a known history in this industry. Finally, the vision of Egypt to develop its industrial base was presented according to the strategy of the Ministry of Trade and Industry 2020, Textile and clothing industry.
The office took advantage of the occasion and organized a visit to company officials HANDAGROUP One of the leading companies in the textile industry to Cairo to hold meetings with the Qualified Industrial Zones Unit as well as with the General Authority for Investment to study the establishment of a factory for the company in Egypt.
