Top for Media Requests the Investment Authority not to license sites until after approval
The Supreme Council of Media addressed a letter to the General Authority for Investment, in which it notified the company not to license the companies established for the websites unless the approval of the Council.
According to the text of the letter that according to Law 180 of 2018 Article (6) of the first section of the first section, it is not allowed to establish websites in the Arab Republic of Egypt or its management or management of offices or branches of websites working outside the Republic only after obtaining a license from the Council In case of violation of any of the foregoing, the necessary measures shall be taken, including the revocation of the license or suspension of the activity of the site or its blocking in case of failure to obtain a valid license.
He called the Supreme Council of Information in his speech the General Authority for Investment not to grant licenses to companies established for websites only after the approval of the Supreme Council of Information.
