Today, the completion of the trial of Suad al-Khouli on charges of money laundering

The Cairo Criminal Court, held in the fifth assembly, on Saturday, under the chairmanship of Counselor Dr. Osama Jameh, continues the trial of former deputy governor of Alexandria, Suad Al-Khouly and a specialist in Egypt Air.
The meeting will be held by the members of the advisors, Wajih Hamza Shakwir, Majdi Abdel Majid and Medhat Farouk. Counselor Mohamed Fouda, the first attorney general of the Ministry of Finance and Commercial Affairs, decided to refer the two accused to trial because during the period from 22 June 2017 to 20 August 2017 they committed a money laundering crime of 500 thousand pounds obtained from the crime of bribery. Camouflage its source and prevent the detection of crime and impede the achievement of the perpetrators.
Tahir Sabala, the first deputy prosecutor and administrative control investigations, revealed that the deputy governor of Alexandria previously obtained 500 thousand pounds from the owner of a contracting company as a bribe in exchange for ending his interests in the governorate and its affiliates and obstructing and stopping the implementation of the removal decision issued from the eastern part of Alexandria for parts of the property. And then handed him over to the second perpetrator, knowing that the money was from illegitimate sources with the intention of concealing and disguising the source of the money. The defendant then released a proxy for the money to be used.
