The Sohag Criminal Court sentenced the accused "Mohammed", a laborer and his brother Abdelhamid, to three years in prison and a fine of 50,000 pounds for being accused of trafficking in hashish.

The verdict was issued under the chairmanship of Counselor Abdul Fattah Al Saghir and the membership of the advisors Khalid Mustafa Omar and Ahmed Mahmoud Al Sayed with the secretariat of Mahmoud Al Sayed and Michael Sobhy.

The events of the incident date back to 2019, in the center of the Al-Balina district, when information was received by the Center's investigation officers that the accused were involved in the trafficking of cannabis in the center's department and promoting them to their clients in one of the premises in the center's office. The suspects were seized with a number of cannabis pieces, which were for sale, and confronted with drug trafficking. They were referred to the Criminal Court, which issued its advanced judgment.
