The Official Gazette published a decision to upgrade the names of two martyr officers in the former North Sinai Security Directorate to the ranks of the pilot and the lieutenant.
The two martyrs are Captain Mohammad Saladin Shalabi Salahuddin Yassin Abu Nur, was promoted to the rank of Major, and martyr Majid Ahmed Mohammed Ahmed Sabri, to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
The decision was issued after reviewing Law No. 109 of 1971 regarding the Police Commission and its amendments, and the decision of the Committee to examine cases of martyrdom in its session No. 862.
