The project also aims at establishing databases for the river transport system and river river units operating under the authority of the General Authority for River Transport so that it can know all the actions that occur to the river unit and the extent to which the unit owner used his original rights and subordination to preserve the rights of others The river stream of river units.

For his part, MP Ahmed Khalil Khairallah, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee of the House of Representatives, said that the draft amendments to the Internal Navigation Law will restore discipline to many of the legislative gaps within the Ministry of Transport, pointing out that since 1956 there was no amendment to the law.
