The Government approves the enactment of the Science, Technology and Innovation Incentives Act
The Council of Ministers approved the draft decision of the Prime Minister to issue the Executive Regulations of the Law on the Incentives of Science, Technology and Innovation, promulgated by Law No. 23 of 2018.
The Executive Regulations include the establishment of a committee in the competent ministry, called the committee of the affairs of the valleys of science and technology, technology incubators and companies, headed by one of the deputy ministers concerned, and the membership of a sufficient number of experts in the fields of law, accounting, consulting and all related disciplines, and specializes in studying applications for the construction of valleys and technological incubators, And address the relevant authorities.
The executive regulations also regulate all aspects related to the establishment of science valleys, technology and technological incubators in terms of construction decision, activities or participation of developers and management incubators, executive director and its specialties, as well as the activities of these valleys, clarifying the resources of scientific research, Established for the purpose of exploiting the outputs of scientific research.
