The Football Federation announces today the final vision of the league and cup of Egypt
The Federation of Football announced on Tuesday the final visualization of the league and cup of Egypt after its adoption by the Council, and put it final by the Committee competitions .
The Football Federation issued a statement stressing the priority of the national team in its list of interests days before the start of the African Nations Championship organized by Egypt next month, so as not to interfere with the interests of the Egyptian clubs, from the national side that governs everyone.
International regulations also give the national team the right to assemble its players two weeks before the tournament in accordance with international rules .
The Federation of Football confirms that the circumstance of the Premier League is not the result of a moment, but is known to all before the start of the competition, which was expressed by the Chairman of the Competitions Committee during the meeting of the presidents of clubs participating in the league, led by Mortada Mansour, President of Zamalek Club, Al-Ahly club management, where all the participants refused to hold the league competition of two groups, in view of the difficulties of the competition from two African tournaments in one season, in addition to the Arab Championship, but the clubs preferred to extend the competition to August Which called on the Union to allow the increase of clubs to 30 players with the opening of the replacement in front of them in the winter transfer to meet their commitments during the long season.
Accordingly, the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Federation reviewed in its meeting today the new vision presented by the Competitions Committee in the light of the latest developments and subject it to further study and communication with all parties in order to achieve the interests of all clubs and the national team including the study of the proposal to complete the competition without the international ones. If this is in order to achieve the desire to terminate the competition before the start of the African Championship after the approval of the clubs concerned.
