The Environment Department in Fayoum prepares reports on water safety to solve the complaints of citizens in the villages
Major General Essam Saad, Governor of Fayoum, said that the officials of the Environment Department in the governorate prepared reports on water safety plans with the drinking water and sanitation company and examined the complaints received from the Environmental Affairs Agency on the nature of inspection and inspection in order to provide realistic solutions that suit the nature of each problem separately.
He pointed out that coordination with local units within the scope of these complaints and problems to provide the best and most appropriate solutions that contribute to support the right of citizens to live in a clean and healthy environment on the one hand, and support the right of the state to preserve environmental resources by the second, Natural resources and better access to services for citizens.
Maj. Gen. Essam Saad pointed out that the decisions issued by the Board of Governors meeting chaired by the Council of Ministers on 21/3/2019 are being continuously activated. The discussions were also held with the meeting of the Environmental Rebalancing Committee, which was held last Tuesday. For environmental indicators and standards at the governorate level through environmental management activities in coordination with all departments in the governorate.
The Governor pointed out that in support of the citizen's right to clean air, a number of complaints concerning environmental pollution from some factories have been examined with the necessary measures. Sewage pipes have been repaired. The complaint of a citizen has been examined. Examination of one of the complaints related to the discharge of sewage water to one of the banks, which was acted upon immediately to take the correct procedures in coordination between the concerned authorities of the local unit and the drinking water company and the general administration of irrigation for the necessary work. With the removal of waste and accumulations and follow-up with the heads of neighborhoods, with traffic and inspection on the ground, and review the licenses related to Porsche Marble and Chuin Building materials.
