The Dutch Ambassador in Cairo: Entrepreneurship "Oxygen" Egyptian economy
The German Ambassador to Cairo, Lawrence Westhoff, stressed that entrepreneurship plays an important role in the economies of various countries of the world, pointing out the importance of the Seventh Entrepreneurship Summit, which will be held in The Hague, the Netherlands, from 3 to 5 June.
This came during a press conference held today at the American Chamber of Commerce, in the presence of Thomas Gold Burger, Charge d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Cairo, Dr. Sherif Kamel, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Cairo, and Engineer Tariq Tawfiq.
He added that entrepreneurship is important for the Egyptian economy. Oxygen represents the economy for its great role in developing and moving it, as well as its contribution to creating jobs for young people.
Some 1,200 companies from around the world are participating in the Hague Summit, including 7 companies selected from Egypt among 400 companies from Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.
