The Desert Research Center approves the establishment of the Office of Quality Assurance, Accreditation and Water Research
The Board of Directors of the Desert Research Center held the 82nd meeting of the Council to review the future plans of the Center and a number of technical and administrative matters for the staff.
The Board of Directors, in the presence of Dr. Naeem Meselhi, President of the Center, approved the establishment of the Office of Quality Assurance and Accreditation and another Office of Excellence in Water Research.
The Council also decided to develop follow-up and strategic planning departments within the organizational structure of the Center after its development, as well as study the obstacles to establishing a central management of research stations.
The Council also reviewed the strategic plan of the Center, which aims to maximize the spirit of belonging and loyalty to the Center's employees and transparency and accounting and the application of modern scientific policies, which increases the role of scientific research in the development of desert areas.
The Board of Directors approved the new promotions for the researchers, which include the rank of researcher professor, 11 degrees assistant researcher and 8 degrees researcher.
