World football

LONDON [Reuters] – Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard has confirmed that he is close to wearing a Real Madrid shirt during the summer transfer period.

According to the Daily Express newspaper, Hazard chose the region of Alcobendas, which lies north of the Spanish capital, "Madrid" to live after moving to Real Madrid.

Belgian midfielder Eden Hazard has agreed to all his personal requirements with the Real Madrid management, but the value of the deal between the Royal and the Chelsea club remains to be settled.

Real have set 100 million euros to buy Belgian Eden Hazard, but Chelsea claim 140 million euros.

Eden Hazard rejected Chelsea's attempts to renew his contract, leaving only 12 months in his current contract with the Blues.

The London club plans to make a new bid for the Belgian international, to be the biggest payer in the history of the Premiership.
