Support the release of 17 accused of 3 terrorist cases by precautionary measures
The Cairo Criminal Court rejected the appeal by the Supreme State Security Prosecution to release 17 accused of spreading false news that would affect the country's national security and join a group established in violation of the law and the constitution.
Prosecution of the accused in case No. 598 of 2016, case no. 553 of 2018, case No. 474 of 2017, and the restriction of the security of a superior state, accused of committing crimes to join a group established contrary to the law, the purpose of which is to call for the disruption of the provisions of the Constitution and the law, Her work.
The prosecution also accused the accused of spreading false news about the political and economic situation of the country with a view to disturbing the general peace in the framework of achieving the objectives of the terrorist group, and promoting the group's goals aimed at undermining confidence in the state and its institutions.
