Support 1,000 families with foodstuffs and clothes for 600 orphans in the new valley
The Directorate of Social Solidarity in the new valley on Friday announced the support of 1000 poor families with foodstuffs and 600 children orphaned with clothes and school bags in the five centers of the province.
The Director of the Department of Relief and Emergency Directorate of Social Solidarity in the new valley, Mohamed Munir al-Odaisi, said that one of the charitable societies provided support for the first cases of care and orphans and sick cases with a total of 179,250 pounds.
He added that the support was disbursed through distributing food bags for 1000 families, distributing clothes for orphans and special needs children to 400 children, distributing school bags for children of orphans and special needs for 200 children, signing medical examinations, dispensing treatment and performing surgery for 3,000 patients.
He confirmed that this support was disbursed through official social research in cooperation with the Association, from November 2018 to April 2019.
On the other hand, the Directorate of Social Solidarity announced the support of the Zakat House and the Egyptian charity for 250 families of the first cases of care and the processing of 35 orphan brides and 100 poor cases in the province.
The director of the Emergency and Relief Department said that monthly allowances were paid to 250 families from the first family, including widows, divorcees, abandoned families and imprisoned families, incurable diseases with an average monthly pension of LE 650 and facilitating the wedding of 35 orphan girls by handing them a washing machine.
He added that monthly aid was linked to 100 of the poorest villages ranging from 500 to 1000 pounds, in addition to providing four electric wheelchairs worth 300,000 pounds, the value of the chair is 75 thousand pounds.
He said that the total amount of this aid amounted to 1052500 pounds, was disbursed from the House of Zakat and the House of charity in Egypt from November 2018 until April 2019.
On the other hand, the Directorate of Manpower and Immigration in the new valley, on Friday, the disbursement of the two Labor Day and Eid al-Fitr for irregular employment at the end of May.
