Supply Luxor: daily campaigns to prevent the monopoly of food commodities and high prices

A number of inspection campaigns were carried out by the men of the Supply Investigation Department in Luxor Governorate to prevent cases of monopolization of foodstuffs and high prices during the month of Ramadan, in the context of the directives of Chancellor Mustafa Elham, Governor of Luxor.
Colonel Mohamed Fadel, head of the Supply Investigation Department in Luxor Governorate, said that working groups have been activated to pass on the markets and major commercial chains and intensify efforts to deal with the increase in prices and trade practices, as well as traffic on all oil facilities, gas stations and gas stations to follow up the movement of selling and trading hydrocarbons.
Fadel pointed out in a press release that, by limiting the quantities of petroleum products and gas cylinders to the markets and their adequacy to meet the needs, it was found that Luxor governorate has 59 supply stations, the number of the supply station of boats and tourist boats and 1 warehouse of Misr Petroleum Company with a capacity of 1600 tons of diesel After the completion of maintenance of the diesel tank and restarted last November.
As for the gas, there is a gas filling plant in the city of Al-Tud, 4 tons of 100 tons, which are filled directly with an average daily input of 130 tons, which is sufficient to produce and fill 12000 cylinders, covering warehouses of the governorate about 61 warehouses and distributed according to the prescribed prices of 100 pounds for the commercial cylinder and 50 pounds for the household cylinder.
He added that the monitoring of security during the current period did not detect any deviation from the law or irregularities. It was also revealed through field monitoring and monitoring, an increase in the prices of the rice product in the context of the high cost of transport.
