Supply 440 thousand tons of wheat till today for shun and silos in the east

Engineer Alaa Afifi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture in Sharqia, said that the harvest season and the supply of wheat in Sharkia governorate is proceeding normally, as 53 Shouna and Suma in the governorate centers receive the wheat crop on a daily basis.

Afifi added that the total area cultivated wheat this year, amounted to 369 thousand and 754 acres, and the area that has been harvested to date, amounted to 359 thousand and 340 acres

Afifi said that the quantity of wheat supplied to date amounted to 439 thousand and 428 tons.
