Manchester City won the Premiership title this season after a 4-0 victory over Brighton at the Valmer Stadium in the 38th and final round of the competition.

Manchester City's crowning victory came a point behind the runner-up Liverpool, who in turn won the Wolverhampton double with Sadio Mani, who shared the Golden Boot award with Egyptian international Mohamed Salah and Aljaboni Peter Obambiange with 22 goals each.
