Secretary of the Union of Scientists: Reject the appeal of the former captain on the elections and the ruling on the validity of his dismissal
Dr. Salah Al-Nadi, Secretary-General of the Union of Scientists, said that the union obtained several judicial rulings confirming the validity of the measures taken during the last period, pointing out that the provisions included: nullification and cancellation of the general assembly held by Dr. Abdel Sattar El Meligy, And the validity of the Extraordinary General Assembly held on 12 April and its resolutions.
For the seventh day, Al-Nadi explained that the provisions also confirmed the validity of the measures announced to hold elections on the General Captain's seat to complete the remaining period. He called on all the sub-syndicates in the governorates to comply with the provisions of the judicial decisions. Appeals filed by the former captain, the treasurer and the agent, against him and Mohamed Sayed Gharib, deputy of the second union, to request the suspension of the elections, and return them to the exercise of their duties.
The Extraordinary General Assembly of the Union of Scientists agreed to withdraw confidence from Dr. Abdel Sattar El Meligy, the General Captain, and referred him to the investigation. He withdrew the trust from the First Agent and the Treasurer and transferred them to the investigation for the offenses attributed to them. .
