Saudi Ministry of Culture receives associations, literary clubs and cultural centers
The Saudi Ministry of Culture received the associations, literary clubs, cultural centers and the Arabic magazine from the Ministry of Information, in implementation of the decision of the Council of Ministers issued on the 28th of Jumada Al-Akhar, who transferred the tasks and activities related to culture to the ministry.
The supervision of the Saudi Arabian Society for Arts and Culture, the Saudi Society of Fine Arts, the Stamp Society, the Photographic Society, the Saudi Society of Cartoons and Animation, the Society of the Deafers, the Arabic Calligraphy Association, the Saudi Publishers Association and the Saudi Producers Association also went to the Ministry of Culture.
The official spokesman of the Ministry of Culture, Abdul Karim Hamid, said in an official statement that the work between the ministries of culture and information is in full swing to end the administrative procedures resulting from the transfer of supervisory functions and reference links in cultural entities, noting that the Ministry of Culture will develop the possibilities and enhance opportunities and capabilities In the cultural sector.
He pointed out that this step is an extension of the Ministry's vision and direction, which has already identified 16 sub-sectors in which it will focus its activities, which will enhance its ability to effectively lead its pioneering initiatives in various fields of the cultural sector.
