Saudi Aramco signs LNG contract with Sempra Energie

Saudi Aramco has signed a 20-year deal to buy LNG from a Sembra unit, Saudi Aramco and Sempra Energy said on Wednesday.
The two companies are also finalizing the investment in a 25% stake in the first phase of the Port Arthur LNG project.
The joint statement said the sale and purchase agreement related to five million tonnes per year of natural gas coming from Phase I of the Port Arthur project for the export of liquefied natural gas [LNG] under development.
