Return of 3,500 worshipers from the Holy Land after performing Umrah
The seasonal lounge at Cairo International Airport received 3500 pilgrims on Friday from 11 Holy Land trips, including 7 from Jeddah and 4 from Madinah.
The seasonal hall at the airport is witnessing a high operational intensity during the current period to complete the travel procedures and the arrival of about 10 thousand pilgrims a day, including 5,000 passengers to perform the rituals and the same coming from Saudi Arabia, on the air bridge organized by EgyptAir to transport 100 thousand pilgrims during the holy month of Ramadan.
A public relations team will welcome pilgrims inside the halls, finish their travel procedures, reach them easily, and provide wheelchairs to transport the elderly and the sick, as well as providing air-conditioned tents for the receptionists and depositors and protecting them from the sun.
