Kadhafi Abdul-Rahim, director of the Karnak antiquities region, said that the restoration works are continuing in the temples of Karnak and Luxor, as part of the plan of the budget of last year and a new plan has been prepared over the past few days.

The director of the Karnak Archeology Region said in a statement that the new plan includes a number of important archaeological temples. The plan is to be set according to the priorities of the restoration work, which will continue throughout the year at a steady pace, in order to preserve every piece and building. Stressed by the restoration and maintenance of monuments on what is accomplished.

The Department of Restoration has completed the work of preparing, preparing and rehabilitating the passages in the second axis of the visit within the temples of Karnak, which extends between the seventh and tenth buildings, in accordance with the Ministry's plan to rehabilitate the sites and museums open to the visit to be accessible to visitors, especially those with special needs.
