Red Sea ports: raising the degree of readiness with the return of Egyptian labor from the Gulf States
Rear Admiral Ayman Saleh, head of the Red Sea Ports Authority, announced that he will increase the readiness of Safaga / Hurghada / Nuweiba ports to start the season of the return of Egyptian workers in the Gulf countries to spend holidays with their families.
The head of the authority said in a statement that the port managers will coordinate with the members of the port community to provide all facilities and speed of completion of the procedures and the availability of appropriate numbers of passport, inspection and customs officers to expedite the completion of the procedures. Any problem with the timely management of the port, and coordination with the companies of East, West and South Delta operating ports to provide buses to speed the transfer of passengers to their province.
He pointed out that there is coordination with the Traffic Police in the governorates to provide places for private buses for not congesting them in front of port doors, and the necessity of shipping agencies to abide by the dates of arrival of the ferries and to oblige the ferry owners to comply with the permitted numbers and the need to evaporate the ferries before each trip. To ensure the validity of sailing and provide all insurance procedures and equipment for fire and rescue in proportion to the number of passengers in case of violation is prevented from leaving the port with the provision of alternative passenger ferry.
