Negotiations between Algerian star Yassin Brahimi and Real Betis' management have reached a standstill due to the overstatement of the financial player.
The Porto player has asked for more than 3 million euros a year with a contract worth up to 4 million euros, the Andalusian newspaper reported.
Brahimi is preparing to participate with the Algerian national team in the African Nations Cup, which starts in Egypt on June 21.
Algeria are in Group C, which includes Senegal, Kenya and Tanzania. The Greens will start their campaign in Cannes on June 23 against Kenya.
